Recommendations
We recommend that you enable:
✅ Start Overlord on login
✅ Auto update Adobe extension
This will make sure that Overlord is running when you restart your computer (which you should probably do more often), and whenever you install an app update, the extension that talks to Illustrator and After effects will also update.

Overlord will check for updates once per day and notify you in the menubar when updates are available. Open the app to Updates to download and install the newest releases of Overlord.

The buttons visibility in the plugin/extension panels is editable in the Hosts section of the app. Edit button visibility will switch to toggle the visible buttons. Save to update the buttons in each app.

In v1, messages were crudely sent to any app with a matching name. If you had 2 versions of Ae open, both would create layers in both. For some users, multiple versions of Ae would open. There was also no way to know if there was a problem with a host app receiving messages.
In v2, you send messages to a specific apps and are only able to send to apps that are open. What you see on this page is much clearer picture of how Overlord sharing data.

The Unlink this machine button to deauthorize your license key on the current computer. This allows the license key to be used on a different computer and will lock the app on your current machine.
This may also be done at license.battleaxe.co but it's quicker to do it from within the app.
